          Gym & Swim Camp

Outdoor Tumble Track Acro & Supervised Free Swim

Ages 5 - 13, all levels welcome

Fly and swim all in one day.  This is an epically fun and novel camp you won't find anywhere else:  Serious tumbling on a 33 foot bouncy air track followed by an hour of free time in the sparkling Superior North Pool.  Instruction and skills will be given specific to each student's level.

Learning objectives:

  • Handsprings
  • Front and back tucks
  • Front and side aerials
  • Layouts and twists

Swimming objective: Fun with friends in the Pool!

We are serious about safety and quality instruction:  We will have a teacher to student ratio of 1 / 5, and will limit sessions to 10 students.

Ages 5 - 13:  Groups will be formed within a session according to age and level.

Two Day Sessions: $89/session, Wednesdays and Fridays, 1:30 - 5pm

  • Session 1:  June 6 & 8
  • Session 2:  June 13 & 15
  • Session 3:  June 20 & 22
  • Session 4:  July 11 & 13
  • Session 5:  July 18 & 20

One Week Camp:  $195/5-day session, Monday - Friday, July 23 - 27, 1:30 - 5pm

Bring:  An athletic swimsuit, slip on shoes, shorts to wear over swimsuit and dry clothes to go home in.  Towel, sunscreen*, sunglasses, snack pack & water bottle (cooler will be available)

*  Please get a high SPF that is waterproof, we will ask students to re-apply half way through each day. 

Movement, Mud & Matisse!


Kids will get to explore their inner artist in this fun camp!  Begin the day with a variety of movement ranging from African dance to hip hop to jazz, including creative dance games.  After a short break, students will divide into smaller groups to work on art projects.  In the pottery studio, kids will unleash their imaginations as they work tactilely with clay to create wonderful works of art and learn a variety of ceramic techniques.  Students will also explore 2-dimensional art techniques and famous artists such as Matisse and Pollack.   All campers will make projects to bring home, as well as receive their own sketch pad and water color set.

We will offer this camp to two age groups:

  • Age 6 to 10:  June 18 -- 22, (5 days), 9:15 to 12:30
  • Age 9 to 13:  June  11 -- 15, (5 days), 9:15 to 12:30
  • Cost:  $225 for 5 days

Wear:  Athletic attire or clothes that are easy to move in (girls should wear shorts under dresses or skirts).  Bare feet, or ballet or jazz shoes.

Triple Threat Camp

Ages 8 to 13 years old


Being a Triple Threat means you can do it all - Sing, Act & Dance.  What better way to improve all 3 skills than in this one week Summer Camp!   Learn basic singing techniques and musical theatre songs, work on building character in your acting class, and then explore how that character comes alive thru dance!   We will also create fun props and costume pieces that will be used in our camp show.  So join us and explore the songs, scenes and choreography from some of your favorite musicals - like  Hamilton, Matilda, Phantom of the Opera, Oliver and so much more ! 

Students will work towards a performance that will be presented for parents on the last day of camp at 2pm.

  • July 30 to August 3, 2018 (5 days)
  • 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Cost:  $275

Lion King Dance Camp

Grades 1 to 5


Lion King dance camp will be taught by Flight Performing Arts directors Kathe Carande and Julie Cutright.  Dancers will warm up to the basics of jazz and African dance, work on leaps and turns, and learn dances from popular Broadway shows.   Dancers will be divided into age groups.   On June 15th and July 20th, camp members will perform a pre-show dance at the CenterStage Theatre Company's Lion King  show.  This dance camp can be an extension to the CSTC's Lion King camp, or as a stand-alone dance camp.   Don’t miss this exciting chance to grow your wings and leap like a gazelle!

The two-week dance camp will be offered two times this summer:

  • June 4 -14 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm
  • July 9 - 19 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm

Each two-week dance camp will run Monday - Friday the first week and Monday through Thursday the second week.  On the Friday of the second week (June 15 and July 20) the dancers will perform a pre-show dance at the CSTC's Lion King camp show.  Friends and family are welcome to this performance.  Performance times are TBD.

The price for each dance camp is $155/child.

Registration Instructions

Registration for Flight Performing Arts Summer Camps is a two-step process.  First complete the Registration Form below.  We will then contact you with a confirmation email that will contain instructions about how to provide payment for the classes.  See more details below in Step 2.

Step 2:  Complete Payment

Now that you've completed Step 1, you will need to submit your payment information in order to secure your registration.  You will receive an email from us inviting you to access your personal client portal.  In the portal you can view your invoices, payment history and make payments via a secure online payment method.  Flight Performing Arts uses Stripe for all online payments.  Your card details are sent to Stripe via a secure SSL connection for payment processing.

Simply accept the invitation and add your credit card details directly on your home page.  Since we value your privacy, your card details are only visible to you.  You’ll receive a payment receipt after this transaction.  Thank you and we look forward to having you on board with Flight.
