Flight Update on the First day of Spring!

March 20, 2018

Hello!  It’s time to touch base with all our Flight dancers and parents--We are halfway thru our winter/spring semester!   Here are some updates:

Our Spring recital will be held at Louisville Middle School Auditorium, on June 1st (dress rehearsal at 4pm), and June 2nd (Recital at 4pm).  Costumes have already been ordered, and students are working on choreography for this exciting show!   You will see charges for costumes and a recital fee on a separate invoice, being sent soon.  We will send more information about the recital, including how to purchase tickets, later in April.

We will also be doing another community service performance at Balfour Lodge in mid-May.  More details about this soon.

We will not hold classes during BVSD spring break, March 26-31.  This week was not included in your invoice charges.   Enjoy your break!

Registration for our spring semester is now closed.

Congratulations to our competitive dancer Samantha Dowd who won a first place at the Denver Celebration Dance competition as well as a title “Dancer of the Year” which landed her in a spot to perform in the opening number at Nationals in Wisconsin Dells in July.  Samantha participated in an intensive week of training with the top dancers in the nation, rehearsing five hours a day. Samantha placed 6th overall in the nation for her solo “Stand in the Light”.

Samantha is the second Flight dancer to be awarded the title of “Dancer of the Year”. Elle Taylor competed and performed in Celebration Nationals in 2016.
